Edinburgh-based alternative rock band Flame delves into the intricate shades of growth and transformation. Mirroring the broad musical backgrounds of each member, Flame represents the process of the singular becoming the collective.
Flame, Ciaran, James, Francis and James revolve around music like an entity that mirrors people. Blending the ethereal textures of shoegaze, the raw edge of grunge and prog, and the warmth of soft rock, Flame captures the beauty in turning pain and uncertainty into a blossoming journey.
Since forming in early 2024, Flame has steadily built their reputation across Scotland’s grassroots and iconic venues alike. With their latest single Gravity shortlisted by BBC Introducing Scotland, they have brought both intimate stripped-back sets and many soaring full-band live shows, including at Sneaky Pete’s, Mash House, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, and The Hug and Pint.
